about
We can no longer trust politicians, our governments nor any kind of authority to act in favor of our interests. Democracy has lost its meaning and is no longer a matter of power to the people - it has become an ersatz of freedom, where you can only choose which leader you despise the less will rule you until his successor takes his place. It's time to rethink the system and educate the citizens, in order to act for the common good. But until then, we'll live under the stomp of an undisputed authority, policed by enforcers of law who forgot to be at the service of the people - but rather enslave them. This system makes us choose sides, breeds wars and fights between brothers and sisters, impoverishes us, and we have no other choice than accept it. This is a silent war against us.
Until we say no more.
lyrics
LYRICS :
No slave
No master
We feed the pigs that deserve no care
And refuse the hand begging for help
Lending the power to rich men in high castles
Did we forget how to use what we have learned?
There's no need of a system where we are led
By corrupted suits caring about their own ends
It's time to educate the masses
To be architects of our fate
Maybe it's all we've ever knew
Guided by crooks, playing by their rules
To be undefeated
We must break the cycle
Brick by brick
Tear down the foundations of the institutions
Breeding injustice
Do you see any democratic process
It's just smoke and mirrors
Choosing which bastard's gonna hold the strings
Chaining our feet to a lifetime debt
Civil rights sold to multinationals
Bleeding us dry on the altar of economy
Our freedom silently smothered
By wolves we chose to put our trust in
For them we're just some rows
Wake up the people
They've been asleep for too long
Wake up the people
Now they can't see the chains around their wrists
It's time to educate the masses
To be architects of our fate
Used to be told our shoulders
Can't carry the weight of the world
We are the only ones to know what path is the best for us
With eyes wide shut we fall for their lies
Led to believe in order to survive
The rules must remain the same
